ETC is an employee owned company, manufacturing and supplying entertainment and architectural lighting, along with rigging technology, globally. Their products can be found in small and large venues worldwide, such as theatres, churches, restaurants, hotels, schools, television studios, casinos, theme parks and opera houses.
For the Prolight + Sound exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, ETC designed an impressive new stand for an exciting product launch. Cat Shepherd, Marketing Communications Coordinator, ETC, spoke with us about the Le Mark floor they selected to complete the design.
“For Prolight and Sound 2019, we wanted to focus on previewing our new Eos 3.0 software which includes ETC’s first integrated 3D programming environment: Augment3d. For this, we needed to create a stage area on the booth where we could present the new technology.
“We asked Le Mark to offer us a solution for covering the stage area and a connecting wall, along with three console stations which we would build on site. Without delay, material samples were sent over to us along with clear explanations of our print, installation and usage options for each of the samples. This allowed us to make a rapid decision and place the order.”
“We recommended that ETC had their design printed on to the Harmony Value vinyl flooring,” said Hannah Tuohy, UK Business Development, Le Mark. “It offers excellent durability, is lightweight and its inner mineral fibre insert allows it to lay flat almost instantly from the roll. We pre-cut all the sizes and shapes that ETC required, including the table tops, to make their installation on-site as simple as possible.”
“As is always the case with tradeshows, there can be many last-minute changes and decisions to be made,” Cat said. “Knowing this was one thing we didn’t have to worry about really helped! The vinyl arrived with us exactly as designed, on time and was incredibly easy to install.
“We were so happy with the results we will be re-creating this (or similar) staging area at ABTT this summer. Thanks again to Le Mark for your help with it!”
