“From the very first meeting with Helen, the Entertainments & Enrichment Manager at Fred Olsen Cruises, she had a clear vision for the Neptune Lounge on the Bolette’s maiden world cruise: a stunning new dance floor. Fred Olsen guests love nothing more than enjoying music and dancing, so when they asked for a larger space to enjoy, Fred Olsen delivered! Le Mark proudly took on this project and achieved a wonderful floating dance floor on top of the Neptune Lounge’s existing carpet, creating a generous new dance space.”
The unveiling of the new dance floor was a memorable event for all involved. “Being on board when the new dance floor was announced to guests was a feeling I will never forget,” Gabriella shared. “It was received with so much joy, happiness, and appreciation. It wasn’t long before the guests were dancing the night away on our stunning Meadow Oak sprung dance floor, with bespoke ramps finished in a unique Nonagon shape.”

Despite the challenge of laying a floor on a cruise ship with over 1200 guests, Le Mark’s professionalism ensured minimal disruption. The main show lounge was closed for less than 24 hours, and the guests were thrilled with the new addition. “It was wonderful to see the guests’ faces when they walked into the show lounge and saw the addition of a wonderful dance floor!” Helen added.
