It has been brought to our attention that some customers and contacts have received fake emails which are intended to look like they are from members of our team. The emails often ask for you to click on a link or download something.
If you have received such an email, we recommend deleting it immediately.
We’ve now been made aware that some customers have replied to a fraudulent email in an attempt to verify its authenticity, to which the spammer has also replied, continuing to impersonate our staff.
The email may look genuine, with a genuine looking address. It may also shift to a close variation of our email address as the conversation continues.
It may be beneficial to re-start any communications with our staff, using a new email. Take extra care when inputting the email address, ensuring it’s accurate and not a close variation. All new emails sent to us should be sent to addresses ending with @lemark.co.uk, for example, firstname.lastname@example.org
If you’re in doubt as to the authenticity of an email from Le Mark, please contact us directly on Tel: +44 (0) 1480 494540.
