Harmony™ High Gloss at Kew Gardens’ Orchid Festival

Le Mark’s Harmony™ high gloss dance floor was selected for performers at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

The Orchid Festival

The 2019 Orchid Festival celebrated the colour of Colombia with over 4000 species, dazzling wildlife displays and a carnival atmosphere that included beautiful traditional dancing.

Providing a safe dance floor

Flints Theatrical Chandlers was tasked with providing the covering for a series of broad-stone steps in the Princess of Wales Conservatory. This would transform them into a safe dance surface for the festival performers. John Joyce, Purchasing Manager, Flints, explained why they selected Le Mark’s Harmony vinyl flooring in gloss black.

“We used to stock a similar floor from another manufacturer, but this was discontinued,” said John. “Because we’re already a distributor for Le Mark, we contacted them to see if they had a direct replacement. As a result, we were recommended the Harmony high-gloss dance floor. It is a vinyl floor which would be quickly and easily rolled out, trimmed to size, and importantly, simple to remove after the event.”

A beautiful finish

“The event was truly stunning,” said Tracey Gridley, Floor Sales Administrator, Le Mark. “We’re delighted that we could help Flints with another successful project.”
