Acclaimed photographer Simon Wright personally selected Le Mark’s Harmony™ dance floor to create this series of incredible images.
Simon was joined at his GB DANCESTARS studio by Britain’s Got Talent finalist the Mersey Girls, and Royal Ballet School students. Mersey Girls are renowned for the colour-coordinated branding of each dancer, so Simon’s design of a nude-colour costume and a neutral grey set allowed their individual bright fabrics to really pop out of the shots. The Royal Ballet School students’ portfolio shoot was a prize from their summer fair raffle and was also able to feature this stunning colour contrast.
For these shoots Simon required a new dance floor that would complement his painted canvas backdrop and be able to lay over any floor he took the studio setup to. He selected Le Mark Harmony Value in grey. To keep the set secure for the dancers, Simon was also supplied with Le Mark dance floor tape – a low-profile tape with high durability.
“It was an obvious choice to buy from Le Mark. Le Mark is a well-respected name and supplies very good quality flooring. It’s also the most competitively priced,” said Simon Wright.
“I needed a portable floor in a neutral grey colour. After photoshoots I roll my floors up and store them, and I’ve found that Harmony lays flat well even after storage, which is fabulous.
“I think the floor is fantastic and the dancers loved it,” Simon said. “The customer service and ordering process with Le Mark was great. Everyone was very helpful, and the floor arrived quickly. You are a lovely company to work with.”
Harmony Value’s lightweight construction and inner mineral fibre insert allows it to lay flat almost instantly from the roll and is ideal for both permanent and touring installations. Although a low-cost dance floor, Harmony Value’s durability and versatility is incredible. It’s been Le Mark’s best-selling dance floor for the professional dance industry for over 5 years.
