Le Mark's Terry Eakins Turns 70

01/08/11

It’s always a pleasure to celebrate a birthday at Le Mark however July saw a milestone birthday reached when Stuart Gibbons had the opportunity to present Le Mark’s most senior employee Terry Eakins with his 70th Birthday cake.

Stuart quoted “Terry is an absolute star performer, working within the finishing and packing team at Le Mark. He is one of the people that ensures our converted rolls leave the building, inspected, clear wrapped and boxed! Terry forms part of our final check process, if it’s manufactured to standard then it gets packed ready for shipping” Terry is a very special individual, he still cycles the round trip of 10 miles each day from his home in Huntingdon to Le Mark. Within Le Mark, Terry has become something of an icon.

A Liverpool man born and bred and a fierce and loyal supporter of Liverpool FC, in his words “the only team in Liverpool”!  He is always first on the dance floor at any company social event; he takes great pleasure in relaying his time spent in the original Cavern Club. When like him, the Beatles, Gerry and the Pacemakers & Freddie & The Dreamers “were just lads” having fun …

Terry received an official ‘Cavern Club t-shirt and a ‘day at the races’ from his Le Mark work colleagues Congratulations once again Terry, you are a very special man and we all salute you.
