Le Mark has been selected as a regional finalist in the prestigious International Trade Awards.

Despite the economic ‘doom & gloom’ Huntingdonshire based Le Mark Group achieved a regional placement in the 2011 International Trade Awards, sponsored by Santander Corporate Banking. These are the only UK wide business awards to exclusively recognize excellence achieved by the UK’s leading exporters & importers

Linda Gibbons the company’s Sales Director quoted “Through exceptional effort, Le Mark has achieved a 21% growth during the last trading year. Much of this is the direct result of proactive and innovative efforts from the export team. Le Mark, to use an old phrase has ‘boldly gone where no other companies from our sector have ventured before”

The launch of new product groups has allowed Le Mark to enter countries including Israel, Japan and South America.

Using a combination of direct visits, trade shows and research trips the company has been better able to understand our overseas client’s needs .From this we have modified and developed the products needed to break into these new and exciting markets .

Any company entering these awards is up against extremely stiff competition especially from companies based within the ‘high tech’ and world renowned Cambridge Circle. However, Le Mark was prepared to be judged with the ‘best of the best’ and was highly acclaimed.

Next year we will be back, a high level competition like this has focused us all to be shaper and more dynamic through 2011 – we want to win “
