A premium gaffer tape manufactured to a high and consistent standard. It’s easy to
unwind and tear with the option of a standard (Mag Original) or matt (Mag 500)
finish. When fixed to a dry surface the tape is waterproof and it has good puncture
resistance. A great tape with a strong hold on most surfaces yet has a low risk of

No numbers – just the name that started it all! 'Mag Original'. A close weave 80 mesh waterproof cloth tape
manufactured to a consistently high standard. Exclusively used by television and AV rental companies that
demand a tape that is strong, easy to tear and unlikely to leave residue on equipment. Often termed a
'Professional Grade' due to its performance and strength. MagTape Original can be used for both inside and
outside fixing applications, holds in place through a range of temperatures. Data sheet available on request.

MagTape Matt 500 retains the same properties as the ‘Original’ but with a matt finish making it ideal to write
on. The non-reflective tape is designed for use where it is not to be seen, ideal for stage and set areas where
uncontrolled light reflection is not an option.

 Self-Extinguishing Cloth Tape
Gaffer tape has been used in almost every situation imaginable throughout the world. It’s durable, easy to
work with and simply a ‘must have’ item. In 2003 Le Mark launched Gaf-Fire, a new type of gaffer tape, one
which has all the qualities of premium gaffer tape but with a difference.
Le Mark has developed the first ever, matt black gaffer to meet British
Standard BS 5867 Part 2 1980 Type B for Flame Retardancy. A very high
quality, waterproof, vinyl coated cloth tape that is fully selfextinguishing
and flame retardant.
